The Blue Jays have claimed OF Darin Mastroianni off waivers from the Minnesota Twins. He has been optioned to AAA-Buffalo. In order to make room for him on the 40-man roster, the Blue Jays have designated OF Kenny Wilson for assignment.

The Blue Jays place 1B/DH Adam Lind on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to 4/15) , and select the contract of 1B/DH Juan Francisco from AAA-Buffalo. In order to make room for Francisco on the 40-man roster, Maicer Izturis has been placed on the 60 day DL.
Jose Reyes has been activated from the disabled list; Munenori Kawasaki has been optioned to AAA-Buffalo.
